China's maritime train ferry design breakthrough key technology to achieve independent design

Through the research of "Key Technology Research on Design and Construction of New Multi-functional Sea Train Ferry", China has mastered the passenger rolling type and main scale optimization, the installation of the pod-type electric propulsion device and the special welding of the ship's train track using the integrated electric propulsion system. The key technologies such as technology and ship anti-heeling system terminal debugging indicate that China has fully possessed the independent design and construction capability of the new multi-functional sea train ferry.

The project is jointly researched by the relevant industries of the shipbuilding industry, research and research. The technical achievements of the project have effectively supported the construction of the actual shipbuilding of the Yantai-line railway ferry ferry. Among them, four key construction technologies have obtained national patents. Three new multi-purpose sea train ferries designed and built independently have been put into use in the Yantai line.
