Beijing's Speedy Boiler Improvement with Two-Pipe

Perfecting policies is an important aspect of safeguarding the implementation of transformation tasks. On the one hand, financial subsidies have been further increased. In order to encourage the clean energy transformation of coal-fired boilers, Beijing Municipal Bureau of Finance and Environmental Protection Bureau have raised the subsidy standards. The "Measures for the Administration of Beijing Boiler Reform Subsidy Fund" formulated in 2002 stipulates that, for each coal-fired boiler with a steam boiler of 20 tons or less, a subsidy of 55,000 yuan per steamer and a subsidy of 20 tons or more will be 100,000 yuan. On this basis, this year will be further increased. In order to increase the subsidy standard for coal-fired boilers in suburban counties to 130,000 yuan per steamer. On the other hand, the scope of fixed asset investment support has been expanded. The Beijing Municipal Development and Reform Commission issued the "Circular on Adjusting the Fixed Asset Investment Policy of the Municipal Government for Clean Energy Conversion of Coal-fired Boiler Rooms," and expanded the scope of support for the clean assets of coal-fired boilers for clean energy transformation. 30% of the investment in the construction of large-scale reconstruction projects is arranged with subsidies. These policies and measures have effectively promoted the implementation of the coal-to-gas reform of coal-fired boilers.

In addition to the clean energy transformation of coal-fired boilers, there have been shutdowns of coal-fired generating units in the coal-fired thermal power plants at Datang Gaojing and shutdown of two coal-fired units in the Shijingshan Thermal Power Plant this year, together with other coal-fired pollution from urban and rural junctions and rural areas. The implementation of control measures is expected to exceed the 2.6 million tons of coal reduction task this year, which will play an important role in promoting air quality improvement.
