Hidden damage to airbags Honda USA recalls 3336 Accord Crosstour

Gasgoo Motors International reported that Honda Motor will recall 3,336 2010 Accord Crosstour models (the car's Chinese name song poem map) in the United States due to safety hazards in the front passenger airbags.

Honda’s recent safety test results showed that a small number of 2010 Accord Crosstour models’ airbags did not meet the US Federal Airbag Standard.

The US Federal Airbag Standard states that during the test of a vehicle, dummies of similar size to 6-year-old children should be tested. When performing a crash test, the airbag must be able to open in time and protect the dummies that are not seated.

The owner of the recalled vehicle needs to send the vehicle back to the dealership. The dealer checks the airbag and replaces it if necessary.
