Policy: Tariff discounts for seven new printing equipment

On the "2010 Tariff Implementation Plan" (No. 28 of the Taxation Committee 2009) issued by the Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council, seven new types of printing equipment have been added and import duties have been lowered.

(1) The provisional tax rate for curved pipe cutters is 4%, which is 50% lower than the original 8% MFN rate;

(2) In offset presses with a print speed of 14,000 pairs/hour or more for the four-color sheetfed offset press with the tariff number 84443313; the double-sided printing speed of the single-folded sheet is increased to 13,000 sheets/hour or more;

(3) In the above article number, the one-sided or super full-page paper printing speed is greater than or equal to 7% of the provisional tax rate of 13,000 sheet-fed offset presses, which is a reduction of 30% from the original tax rate of 10%;

(4) In the offset printing machine with the speed of more than or equal to 16000 pairs of open/hours for the five-color and above sheetfed offset printing machines of the tariff number 84443319, the double-sided printing speed of the sheet-fed single sheet is greater than or equal to 13,000 sheets/hour.

(5) The provisional tax rate of 7% or more for single-sheet or full-page sheet-fed single-sheet printing is 7%, which is a reduction of 30% from the original 10%.
