WABCO expects to begin mass production of ACC products in the first quarter of 2012 as a standard configuration for Yutong's high-end passenger cars, including its luxury passenger cars, long-distance buses, city buses and hybrid buses.
WABCO's Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) automatically adjusts the vehicle's speed to maintain a safe distance from the vehicle ahead; responds to potential dangers through auditory and visual warnings, engine control, and local braking in emergency situations. .
