Tires will not be squeezed out of the market

Entrusted by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the China Rubber Industry Association (hereinafter referred to as the China Rubber Association) organized and carried out research and development work on the “conditions for the entry of the tire industry” on July 4. The China Rubber Association will report the "Entry Requirements" to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology at the end of July. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology plans to formally issue the "Entry Requirements" in August.

"Entry conditions" will add specific requirements for the quality of green tires and tire products, and increase the specific requirements for energy and resource consumption of tire manufacturers. "Entry conditions" also proposed that tire companies must implement the "Three Guarantees" policy, as well as the recall of defective products. In addition, star-level management models will be established for tire companies that have met the standards. The company's product quality reputation rating is directly proportional to the star rating.

Zhuo Dong, analyst of Zhuo Chuang Information Technology Co., Ltd., said that the “Entry Conditions” will be in line with the EU Reach regulations and US standards. Judging from the preliminary agreed contents of the entry conditions, tires without "three guarantees" will gradually be squeezed out of the market.

It is reported that the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will make announcement management for companies that meet the "Entry Conditions." Tire companies entering the announcement will be able to enjoy national policies as well as bank support in order to achieve the goal of eliminating backward production capacity, suppressing excess production capacity, and changing the lack of market supervision.
