Didi, mainly through investment and cooperation with competitors, has been committed to global expansion. Earlier this year, Didi took control of the Brazilian taxi startup 99 Taxi and worked with startups such as Tallinn, Taxify and Careem. Last month, Didi Travel announced its entry into the Mexican market and launched the Didi Express service in Toluca, the capital of Mexico.
