The operator can select the mixture of diesel and natural gas on the control panel, then the engine will switch to dual fuel mode and automatically select the appropriate speed. Cummins said that in the field of marine engineering, variable speed pressure pumps usually consume a lot of fuel. Cummins' dual-fuel engines will provide significant fuel savings and enable operators to see a significant return on investment within six months of operation.
