Japan’s Mitsui Shipbuilding and Daihatsu Diesel said on the 28th that the jointly developed “MD-G Series†was transferred to China.
In December last year, Japanese companies signed a contract with Shaanxi Diesel Heavy Industry Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (CSIC), and then signed a contract with China National Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC)'s Anqing CSSC diesel engine in February this year. The contract was signed by MD Engineering, a joint venture between Mitsui Shipbuilding and Daihatsu Diesel.
The "MD-G Series" jointly developed by the two companies consists of medium-sized "MD20G" and large-scale "MD36G" (power is 800~8000kW). The two Chinese companies that signed the contract each year produce hundreds of mainframe accessory companies.
