After attending the Central Economic Work Conference held in Beijing on December 9th, through the interpretation and consideration of the contents of the meeting, Ma Chunji believed that there was no fundamental change in the country's macroeconomic policy in 2010. In this year's Central Economic Work Conference, it was clearly stated that next year will be mainly to stimulate the economy by consumption, but consumption and investment are complementary. The investment-driven drive will still be the driving force in the "economy two drives" and will play an important role.

In this regard, he is cautiously optimistic about the heavy truck market next year. He expects that the heavy-duty truck market will not experience significant fluctuations next year, and the growth rate will return to normal levels.

Ma Chunji said that next year will be the last year of the “Eleventh Five-Year Plan” and some projects will be accelerated. He particularly emphasized that the country will continue to carry out the construction of small cities and towns, which is tantamount to inserting soaring wings for China's economic development.

He pointed out that the development target of China National Heavy Duty Truck in 2010 is to produce and sell 140,000 heavy trucks, and strive to reach 150,000; maintain a growth rate of more than 10%, and strive to achieve a 20% increase.

To achieve this goal, China National Heavy Duty Truck has established plans for laying out networks to the market in the blank areas, county-level cities, and western regions.

Heavy truck market ups and downs in 2009

For the sales of CNHTC in 2009, Cai Dong described it with ups and downs.

He said that at the beginning of this year, engineering dump trucks on the heavy truck market came out of a wave of high-growth prices, and that Sinotruk's products accounted for more than 90% of total sales at that time. In the third quarter, the trend of engineering dump trucks has stabilized, the road tractors have recovered strongly, and new changes have taken place in the heavy truck market.

From this year's perspective, among the existing products of China National Heavy Duty Truck, the dump trucks perform the best and the market share is as high as 40%. In addition, cement mixers and bulk cement trucks also perform well.

Faced with the results, Cai Dong admitted that the performance of the 6×2 tractor this year was far from satisfactory and worth reflecting on. Next year, the company will focus on supporting the network layout of road tractors and increase their sales.

Cai Dong said that next year, the satisfaction of heavy truck trucks of all types will be greatly enhanced. Among them, the spectrum of HOWO-A7 series is gradually perfecting; new products such as HOWO-T7, new energy heavy truck, mine king, and mine bullion will be launched next year; heavy truck AT (automatic transmission) products will be marketed after one year of marketing. The share continues to increase. He expects that the products equipped with AT will become the main driving force for users to purchase HOWO-A7 series models in the future. All these will help improve product satisfaction.
